Sorry, CaptainKarl. We probably won't make Key Largo until late in the day tomorrow. But if for some reason you are still there, we will be at the Pilot House late tomorrow afternoon.

Thank you so much for your generous offer. I’m sorry we’ll miss you. We love meeting other sailors/boaters/adventurers! We should be back late May. Key Largo is our home. If you’re still around then, let’s get together!

Re: Central America marinas/diesel fuel/provisions

I recently stayed at the Linton Bay Marina, near Puerto Lindo. It is a superb facility with a huge new travelift, floating concrete docks, fuel, water, ready access to shopping in Portobelo. The Marina is visited daily by local vendors offering laundry service and fresh produce. There is a floating bar on a barge on site. A machinist works on site. Sailmakers and riggers are available in Portobelo. In short, an excellent stop!

Ha, there now. Yes, Linton Bay has made a lot of progress...still a bit rough around the edges with unfinished construction, but its coming along.
