Tropical Discussions Email

A very long time ago (7 years?) NOAA had a service where you could get the forecasts and discussion of tropical weather by email subscription.

Can someone help me find the way (if any!) to do that today?

When offshore I do use the email service for the weather faxes (as terribly CLUNKY as that system is), but I'd really like the tropical discussion and forecast to come to my satellite email in text form.

Any assistance will be appreciated! Google has not been my friend on this one, and the government websites are hopelessly out of date and confused.

Does this help? It's FTPmail, not a subscription, though.

That is exactly what I wanted...

Well, exactly might be too strong a word... certainly FTPMail is very cool 1980's technology!

If I can ever get a response from the server...
