Hi, folks...

New to the board, hope to be an active participant. Sail an Ericson 35-II, 1972, purchased in 1977 back east, now sail in SF Bay. I'm retired (former engineer and salesman), my wife is a VERY active Marine Biologist.
I'm ABYC (electrical) certified; also NMEA (CMET) certified, work locally in the Berkeley area for a local marine center...It's how I keep from going crazy after the pleasure of cutting the grass and cleaning the garage for the hundredth time wears off.

Welcome aboard! My friend is going to move his West Sail 32 over to Berkeley before his sail to Hawaii. You might see him? Maybe not. You might have marinas full of West Sails. His name is David.

Welcome, and I understand the thrill of mowing the lawn. It's as exciting as watching it grow.....lololol

I use to sail out of Emery Cove Yacht Harbour in Emeryville since 1990-07. The Bay is extremely special, and I miss sailing there............
