New to Mexico - Anyone Building or Selling on the Emerald Coast?

Hi all. I am brand new to this forum. I have been sailing small boats since the age of 10 but never owned a sailboat. I am semi retiring to Mexico on the north coast of the Yucatan peninsula in a town called Chelem, near Progreso puerto. I am hoping to meet some sailing enthusiasts here, possibly hook up with someone who is building their own boat (a dream I have had for the last 20 years). Also I am looking to purchase a very very inexpensive 30footer that is sailable now but needs some TLC. (Hence the connection with a boat builder here).
