Oh, the innuendo packed into that one sentence, Thomas.

This has become the disappearing thread. I thought they yanked it off the board yesterday, but here it is again. Hmmm... does this mean that the pretty lady and beautiful boat have been verified by our moderators?

Now.. does anyone remember where I put my passport...???

Single male never married 53 yr old would love to learn how to sail. So I am not a Captain. I just aquired two 21 foot sailboats a rk21 and a clark San Juan 21. I know absoulutly NOTHING except that I loved sailing on the Catboat in Mystic Ct. And enjoyed the Boat Museum in Bath Maine where they built 6 masted Schooners. I reccomend visiting these sites if you have not already. I am on the E. Coast in Pa. Yeasayer@epix.net would love to hear from anybody who can help me learn how to sail. For now its reading Coast Guard study material. I would love to sail with you young lady but you would have to "captain" me. At least till you say I have surpassed your skills. Lance

Sailnet Singles Scene

So now, instead of www.match.com we have the Sailnet Singles Scene. Sounds like we need a new area in the forum where 50 guys can chase one gal around without getting in the way of the rest of the website

Afterall I wouldn't want to slow anyone down. As for this pretty lady...I sure hope her husband doesn't read this forum.

I am sincere in my quest. No husband. Why all the sarcasm? Since you mention match com....you can find me there....Rivrgirl962

Oh, and fellas....just a warning....If you stare at my hulls too long....you mite get your rudders stuck in the mud! Then how will you explain THAT to your wives?

In my recollection, you are the first "real" lady who's come onto the forum and expressed a desire to meet a single sailor. Speaking for myself, I thought one of the guys was pulling a fast one, hence the sarcasm.

I was wrong and do apologize.

apology accepted. Based on the ribbing ya'll give eachother i can understand why you might have thought my post was from one of your own prangsters. How are you enjoying your catalac? One nice thing about cats is that we are prepared to cruise in no time flat....no need to put socks over the booze bottles to prevent clanging eachother! lol

I've had the boat two years now and love it. It's small enough to fit in a marina slip, and the twin diesels give it terrific motoring range. This is an important point as the boat doesn't... point well that is.

She's great as a pocket cruiser, or for a weekend getaway but she's way too small to livaboard. On the other hand she's always the party boat!!

How are you getting on with that floating palace of yours?

You should post your request on the San Diego Waterfront website, San Diego Waterfront, the first place for news about the big bay - yacht clubs, sailing, boating, chartering, yachting, racing, scuba diving and surfing on the Skippers looking for crew list. You will get responses I assure you.
