New member, just joined.based Isle of Wight.
Have been boat mad since a child, lots of dinghy sailing from 6-12 yrs then got into weekly crewing on local round the cans racing, channel crossings, round the island race, and a bit of grown up racing which put me off for a while!😂.
Not sailed since the kids arrived but there now old enough to start enjoying the sea, so just got us a jag white silk 28’. to play on in the Solent and south coast, and once schooling’s done a trip through the french canals is being considered.

Never had a chance to see the French Canals when I was over on your side of the Pond, but I'm very familiar with your stomping grounds (Solent) and I especially love the Isle of Wight. <Sigh>
