What's wrong with month's with "R" in them? Is that when the bad weather kicks in?

Yeah, but the run back home would be great. And watch those southerlies...nothing like breaking waves over the patch, and on either side of the shipping channel entering the gate.
Maybe Half Moon Bay would be better...I'm easy

Nice halfway point. They have a good anchorage as well. I will go for the highest attendance. Not sure which boat I will be sailing at that time, but if the tri makes it in the water the bay is no problem. If not, I am sailing all the way. Breaking waves in the potato patch is status quo. Not a problem on Kittiwake. She loves big seas.

Kevin...June, July and August see honkin' winds here...30 knots+ almost every afternoon. In addition, the tides are stronger than in the fall, and the (advection? convection?) fog can make for some interesting times.
BUT...there's nothing like big wind, strong reversing current, lots of shipping traffic, close-confines with plenty of hard spots, and near-zero visibility to make that first cold one at the end of the day oh-so-sweet.

It floats and has two sails. So, for a trip like that I would say only lacks launching, now if you want to know how far from done is the boat, well, It depends on a number of factors, mostly what I do about the systems and other add ons that I am not ready to make a decision on yet. Of course, I could always ask for a tow from our new members here Then all it would have to do is float.

Meridian, any month will work for me, so let me know what works for you. As for the tri, it will make it or it won't, but if it is not ready, Kittiwake is. If we can get Craig and Vivian, and also new members from here in Moss Landing, Robin and Michelle, to join us it will be a great party. If not, well, we just need to party on thier behalf
