Hello from a temporary landlubber

Yes, I'm new here.(but you knew that...)
No I do not currently have a boat, (I have had 2 in the past) but that will be changing. The first boat I had was a 14' O'day and the 2nd was a 22' Catalina.
I hope to have a decent boat within the next year.(if everthing goes my way) Hopefully 32' or bigger.

Ive been "reading the mail" here for about 2 months and I hope to learn as much as I can from the people that frequent this board.(except for the 2 who seem to want to throw a wrench into the works)

Anyway...I have read nearly every thread posted for the past 2 years but still have a few questions to ask, but...I still need to search previous threads a little longer as I might find the answer I am looking for without starting a new,,,er, um...another thread that has been hashed several times....OK...over and over for several years...
I promise not to ask....
What is the best boat...
What is the best oil...
what is the best sailmaker...
How do I get my anchor up when it's stuck on a cable in a no anchoring zone...
Why can't I dump my poo overboard when I am in the Florida keys...
adnauseum....
Adnauseum....

Re: Hello from a temporary landlubber

OH!!!
Some more Q's I will not ask.....
What is the best varnish....
What's the best way to keep from being washed overboard during a storm...
How do I paint my bottom....(there is a joke on this one LOLL! somewheres....)
What's a dink....
I just filled my boat with gas about 20 minutes ago now it just stopped running, why?....it's a diesel, but I put high octane no ethanol in the tank...it should run faster and give me more miles, right?

You obviously didn't read every thread... otherwise "Which anchor is best?" "Mono or cat?" would be on top of your list together with "VAT in the Med?"

Welcome aboard!
