Welcome to the forum Barry. I intend to join the annual migration north in about a months time and am looking forward to exploring both Moreton Bay and the Capricorn Coast.

The boat is a sailing vessel Adelie.

Thanks to all for the welcome. I am not sure about how to write on the forum but it seems I have done enough to illicit replies from you all.
If you drop into Moreton bay, give me a hoy. I am in the southern part of the bay in the islands off Redland bay.

Our yacht Glacier was damaged in the storms of Jan 30 this year and am waiting for insurance go ahead to commence repairs on bowsprit and headsail furler. I shall ahve to edit my profile to reflect my location.
Again thanks for the welcome.

Re: Hello from a New Member

I'm new to this site as well , we are in the process of buying a mooring in Manly also on Moreton bay. Our boat doesn't arrive till November so will have to be content watching someone else renting the berth( hopefully) till our boat arrives. Look forward to seeing you out on the bay eventually!
