Hello All!

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, and I plan on heading South to Mexico this fall with my wife and two children, ages 11 and 12 on our Hylas 47. There seems to be tons of things to do before we're completely ready, but we're tackling them one at a time. I've been reading the posts here with interest and learning a few things too.

Welcome aboard. It's down hill all the way from SF to MX. It's going back that's tough.

If you have tons to do it sounds like you are doing a good job looking. Lots to check and double check before a large trip. As you work through your list I think you can find a lot here to help with all those details that need tending to. It is after all the little things that conspire to threaten your fun. A family of 4 and a 47 ft boat makes for a very big list. All the best in your planning and preparations!

Aloha John,
Welcome aboard! Good to have you here. You can give us an update from time to time about your progress in the check off area.
Maybe you'll have a question or two that we can help you with.
Kind regards,
JohnL
