Hello...
Hi there, I just joined because I want to find out some more information.

I'm 53 and had a massive unexpected upheaval in my life and no longer want to carry on living on land in the UK... have wanted to leave for a long time.

I can sail... been sailing since I was a baby... but know nothing about how to navigate and protocols for entering waters and anchoring etc.

Have been watching lots of things on You Tube... some of which have helped.

Plan is to get a boat with a friend... and leave as soon as is reasonably possible.
