Hello everyone,

I'm new to the forum and thought I'd say hi. I grew up sailing with my family and have done several Keys and Bahamas trips. Unfortunately I've had to move to a landlocked state for work and the family boat has fallen into disrepair. I'd like to do one or two cruises a year so I'm trying to figure out how to do bareboat charters. I figure it's probably not worth the cost of buying my own boat if I'm only going to be able to use it once or twice a year. And the bigger factor there for me is that I wouldn't be around to keep it (like the family boat when I moved away). Anyway any insight from someone in a similar position would be appreciated.
