cruising is the goal

I am the owner of a Hunter 25 and have been reading all the books and articles on cruising that I can. I have been bit by the cruising bug. I met with my financial planner 3 weeks ago and told him of my intent. He is a lifelong friend and after the shock left his face he asked me if he could go too! We also set some aggressive goals to increase my existing savings and laid the groundwork for my depature. My purpose of this post is to start to communicate with others who have made the change to a new and wonderful lifestyle. Let me hear your stories and thoughts.

So, I raise my rum filled glass and ask for your wisdom.
