Re: Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi, Oi, Oi

I worked with a couple Aussie's and Kiwi's on my most recent trip to Afghanistan. One of them was teaching our guys all kinds of "colorful" phrases. Realized how much of a unique language is spoken there when someone says something about "taking a hit on a fag" (not sure if I got it right) only to realize it's a reference to smoking a cigarette.
Confused the heck out of me most of the time.
Welcome to the forum!

Re: Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi, Oi, Oi

For generations, going out for a fag was illegal, then, Californian's decided it should be legal and so it became. Then, in recent years, those same Californian's decided that going out for a fag should be illegal and so it became. I can't keep up with all the changes so not wanting to break the law, I switched to cigars...

I know I am going to open a whole can of worms. But jeese mate. Its not profitable, its not responsible and it needs to stop.

Besides, you show me one Wambie flyer that will stay on a boat and not get spooked. At least Marupials of all kinds will stay aboard once trained.

Re: Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi, Oi, Oi

I heard from an Oz friend that the description of an Oz "one night stand" is "eats, roots, and leaves." True?

Oz. Your points are noted but I am not a breeder.
I tried flowers, chocolates, champagne and romantic candle light all with no success.
