It is in Arizona. Tower Bridge is still in London.

BTW

Only six Delta Smelts were counted during this year's (2015) March survey.

Delta Smelt, Icon of California Water Wars, Is Almost Extinct

Now convince humans have no impact on the Earth.

Re: Why Climate Change Won't Matter in 20 Years

Jack,

Wait a minute partner. Now I remember what began happening just about the same time those water marks appeared on your dam pictures. The US Forestry service or which ever Federal agency takes care of these things, began opening up the Colorado River dams to allow an annual flooding to reduce the build up of silt behind the dam. So no... a portion of the change in water level can be directly related to eco concerns and annual flooding.

NOT global warming.

Personally... I couldn't care any less about the Delta smelts. If there are only six remaining, then stick them in a bowl at the aquarium and use the Sacramento River water for humans.... instead of six fish.

Thanks. You've proven my point regarding the water situation being screwed up by politics and the eco nuts.

I know Jack... that's why I used the smiley, winky thingy.

Me gets the feeling that after nearly 2500 posts, a dozen of us could still sit down at a pub and enjoy an nice evening of drinking beer and have a very good time discussing boats and boat stuff.

It's really built up around there since I visited 42 years ago, canoeing down the Colorado with a bunch of Boy Scouts. Thanks for the memory.

Given the acknowledged systematic, shared errors of all current climate models, treating model outputs as decision-relevant projections can be significantly misleading. In extrapolatory situations, such as projections of future climate change, there is little reason to expect that post-processing of model outputs can correct for the consequences of such errors.

I will be in San Francisco in late May after a delivery of a Pac Cup from Honolulu - I hope. Just awaiting insurance clearance.

I will be in Lahaina at the end to July to take a Vic Maui boat back to Vancouver.

In Bahamas in three weeks for my first "pleasure" sail in 9 years. With my wife and bunch of folks from our squash club.

I like darkish craft beers. Costco used to import a nice selection from a California brewery before the CDN dollar tanked.

I grew up in Imperial Valley. That water is responsible for 1/5 of the produce growth in the country. So is your point that it would be better to allow it to flow into the sea instead?

BTW - it has always been hot there and it hasn't gotten any hotter.

Sailorboy,

I didn't know you were from California. What city are you from? I grew up in Huntington Beach where it wasn't so hot.
