My gosh, you are all still here. It seems such a long time since the summer, and here I am back again, just for a peek to see if its realy worth sticking my head above the wall to see who is on the other side.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained Dale. Talking of which, why do you take so long to reply?

We are up to 68 members and they are not all guys!
Welcome back beautiful Anjou and welcome to the group Gunslinger (how was the boat shopping?) Martinini, jjones1349, jhnhill, Liann, Maddie, and navysurfer .

Just want to remind you all that you can post your own thread on our Singles group page, just read the instructions listed on the main page (might be page #2).

Mule, I am unable to cut and paste that Cruising World letter. Maybe someone here can scan it..? BTW- There is a couple really interesting articles in CW and the add space is not out of control like it used to be. It looks like the CW I know and love from my younger years. (I don't work for them!!).

Also, the book mule was eluding to was my mom's book about meeting my dad and sailing around the world together. It is called "The Oceans Are Waiting" by Sharon Ragle, nuf said or I may get in trouble (I don't work for Sharon Ragle but I am partial ).

I had to buy a car this weekend, my old hyundai finally bit the dust. That old beat up car that I named fletta got me through nursing school, I am gonna miss it. My new car is a black nissan altima that I named Tiberius (it looks like a tiberius!). Does anyone else name their cars?

Question:
What is the craziest date you have ever been on?

Cheers,
Erika

"Does anyone else name their cars?"

Cholmondeley (pronounced "Chumly"). 'Twas an MGB of course. I haven't had a car since with enough personality to name it.

Given the huge number of reads it would be fair to say over 13,000 members of Cruisers Forum want to know.

Godspeed in any case - no matter what happens!

Ah, the bushes. I bet that is a place many haven't thought to look.

Good luck,

Cangrats OceanGirl! You deserve the best.

I'm still hopeful, but this "soulmate" thing is starting to seem impossible.

At this point, I'd settle for a 'friend' who could be a co-crew! Going it alone on a boat is hard work, and less fun when there's no one to bounce ideas off, and think out loud to when facing a difficult decision.

So, where's the thread for those "Single Sailors Seeking Company Aboard"?

All you crusty old hermits out there: I think you'd find me easy to live with. I'm not girlie, but am very sexy (). Don't like to talk much, but will listen. Have a nice boat with room for you.

C'mon, let's share the work

Flysci, I nearly said the same thing the day before my DB wrote me (DB is short for dream boat). Don't give up, he is out there and searching for you! Keep the faith sister.
