I was just reading something about Ghandi's thoughts. Many know about Ghandi, the Indian leader and holy man who wandered
India barefoot in his later years, talking with the people and living among them.
Whats not so widely known is that this lifestyle, living outdoors, walking barefoot over stones and dirt roads, eating whatever was given to him, was hard on the old man.
Ghandi became a shrunken skeleton of a man. His
health started failing. He
lost his teeth, and his diet gave him perpetual problems. So, finally, at the end, he was little more than a
Super-calloused fragile mystic plagued with halitosis...
