Ghandi

I was just reading something about Ghandi's thoughts. Many know about Ghandi, the Indian leader and holy man who wandered India barefoot in his later years, talking with the people and living among them.

Whats not so widely known is that this lifestyle, living outdoors, walking barefoot over stones and dirt roads, eating whatever was given to him, was hard on the old man.

Ghandi became a shrunken skeleton of a man. His health started failing. He lost his teeth, and his diet gave him perpetual problems. So, finally, at the end, he was little more than a

Super-calloused fragile mystic plagued with halitosis...

Canibul,Its Gandhi not Gandi,Tere is a lot more to Mahatma"The great soul"Gandhi, than you have let on,funny as it sounds, nowhere have I heard him spoken of in this mannor.I urge you to read more of him and think deeper than you have for he is truly one great man.He was the insperation of an era,not just an idiology, and walked this planet with a passive condemnation of all that is wrong in this world.Sadly enough his was assasinated and the two men involved were executed, sadly enough,If Gandhi was alive he would not have endorsed exercution, even for them.Gandhi 2-10-1869<30-1-1948.If you live to be 79yrs old maybe a few dirt roads wern't such a problem after all.Mudnut.

Gandhi definitely had a sense of humor.

Once, when asked what he thought of western civilization, he said, "I think it would be a good idea."
