Boat Launch Fail

Very unfortunate ... It hurts to watch. Any analysis on what happend? If only there are any lessons to be learned from this ...

Cabled down too quick on forward hook

Slings too close together

Didn't research sling marks

Not very self righting is it?

In the video it looks like the foward cable slid back.

What a nightmare! I have seen this one before and it always makes me cringe, even if it does not have sails.

... I guess when we've had a bad sailing day, something went wrong at the dock .. well, we can look at this and say, "Could a been worse!"

Scottie, if you look closely you will see that is a different boat than the one in the video. The one in the stills had its shafts and props removed on the way down and had 2 people on board. Just goes to show this **** happens all the time
