Multi-state registration

So Georgia wants you state registered if you spend more than 60 days in the state, then you go to FL and they want registration after 90 days (not including a sojourners permit), then you go back to GA.

Do they expect you to re-register every time?

I'm pretty sure they just want the annual fee. They really don't care which state you are officially registered in.

When you register in Florida tell them that you are staying for more than 90 days, but nonetheless are only there temporarily--you will be leaving in due time. They will still want their registration fees (which are very modest anyway), but you will not have to change the registration numbers on your vessel, or re-title it in Florida.
