Giving up the ranch in Colorado and moving to a live aboard sailboat in the Keys

Ok let me post this and see what kind of replies I get. A friend who says he once moved boats and lived on them and to me seems negative says the best day of a live a boards life is the day they buy the boat and the day they sell it. Now folks give me some feed back ,

sillybilly you have received a lot of good advice from many...if you find your live aboard boat suited for you and your son...you have the flexibility to relocate if you are not satisfied.......now the time has come to make a decision..good luck

I hear ya. This property has a woman very interested, she has been here twice and is coming again to walk the property lines. So the time she is a comin closer.
Wish I was not doing this alone as in it is all up to me ....

You'll make the best decision for you and your son. Don 't have regrets as there will always be doubts and doubters about what you do with your ranch. You have a lot to look forward to ... our beautiful Ocean..

I sailed in the ocean for many years off mostly New Jersey and surfed as a teen, I hear you. The sound of the water, the birds and the salt air.

Many can't understand the mystery of the sea that draws us... It is a passion beyond explanation...I believe you too have it.

You 'll get down this way before you know it....if soon, most of Hurricane season will be gone...
Here in Jacksonville we just celebrated 50 years since Hurricane Dora came ashore here in 1964. Before Dora, the last had been back in 1885..

Go for it and have fun, you only live one time and for a very short time. I lived on the keys as a kid, could not save any money so I moved inland. Now I have so many things I can not go back.

Sillybilly.... You have been quiet for a while ....I'm visiting my Son down in Denver ... The weather is unusually nice but we know the Snow will fly soon .... You bout ready to go South by Southeast....
