You might check on Lauderdale Marine
Center, up the New River in Fort Lauderdale
. Most of their business is superyachts, where crew is expected to live and work on the boat in the yard. They do still manage to fit a few "little" boats like us in too. They deal with lots of cats, and won't even need the biggest lift
they have to get you out of the water
. Not bargain basement, but not really high end pricing either. They are fine with you living on the boat while you work.
For a price
, they can even supply a cooling
tower so you can run your AC, and a black water
tank for your toilet waste so you can have all the comforts of home while on the hard
The nice thing about Fort Lauderdale
is there a zillion marine service
and supply places around.
