9 knts seems realistic to me with a 52'er ... At least for part of the time. Why not? We've done 8.5 and other numbers near that, right here in Puget Sound And this has been while towing my 14' fiberglass Larson tender with its 20 hp yamaha. Heck, we where doing 7 point something just a few weeks ago with winds of around 15 knts I think it was. Who made your hull ?
