Finishing our cruise
We bought our cruising boat in 2007. In 2009 when we were fully moved aboard at a marina on Vancouver Island, I first posted a thread on CF.
We cut the docklines in June 2010 and headed South toward parts warmer in 2011.
Tomorrow I leave Estrellita in Australia and with that move, we officially end our 5.5 year cruise.
It has been an absolutely fantastic ride and although we are going back to work, it is with the knowledge that our vagabonding days are not over.

Re: Finishing our cruise
We will look in on your boat when we go to ours which is moored nearby.
Good luck.

Re: Finishing our cruise
Thanks you guys. Great to know someone else will look in on her (already a few eyes doing so), Florida beers sound excellent, and you are right about that 4-letter word Ann!

Re: Finishing our cruise
Thanks guys, we've missed the mountains. That is one thing that we didn't get enough of (regularly) while cruising and we are enjoying our time playing in them.
I've re-added the blog to my signature.

Re: Finishing our cruise
Oh Livia,
Hope the winter's not too bad... Have fun playing in the hills..
If only they knew the joys of MJ & SK... We have not yet met but we did say we were going to drive to MJ to meet.. My partner and I want to thank you for all your efforts towards your blog, from the Interview With a Cruiser Project, to the amalgamation of the Cost of Cruising information.... It's all been very thoughtful and helpful to us wannabes..
Thankyou (and I did say that we would buy you and Carol a beer).
