For Sale or Trade: Yanmar 3QM30 parts (TX)

We recently bought a 3QM30F parts engine to salvage the cylinder head and have a number of other parts and spares folks might be interested in for Yanmar 3QM30 or 2QM20 engines. Unless otherwise noted, the parts were removed from a running engine, but I can't say more about their function than that. We're currently near Houston, TX if anyone wants to have a look. Make me an offer or propose a trade.

Fuel injector assemblies (724770-53100): I have 3 used and 3 new and unopened in Yanmar packaging

Secondary fuel filter housing (724220-55500) with new filter (124220-35210) and gasket (124220-35270) (These are officially for 2QM or 3QM engines)

Printed copy of 2QM20/3QM30 service manual in 3 ring binder plus original operations manual for engine and gearbox

As fate would have it, I need a new heat exchanger. It would not be bad to have a spare raw water pump, too. I would be willing to put a bid in on these items.

For your crush washers: I have had good luck with Toad: Yanmar 23414-080000 Sailboat Supplies, Engine Parts and Boat Parts

However, you can find "sets" for around $20 that have many size washers. Some sizes you will not need: but I still picked up 2 of these sets of copper washers. I figure maybe I'll either use the off sizes for something or if I run into someone who needs one I'll have it on the boat..

I do know where to get all the parts I listed (except the thermostat bracket), but I wanted to give people the option to trade if they wanted to. We're drowning in spares.



These are cash prices for local folks. We'd be open to listing items on ebay, but I'd have to add ~12% for ebay/Paypal fees and shipping costs. Local buyers also preferred as items are sold AS IS. Not keen to ship a transmission across the country, for instance, only to have someone ask for their money back.

@NorthCoastJoe; I'm 99% sure there's no way to mount a cam shaft-driven 3QM30 pump on a 3GM30 designed for a pulley-driven pump. But I'll happily take $100 if you think of a way to jury rig it.
