VDO tachometer
Looking for a VDO Tachometer. Reads to 3000 revs; model N 02040 305. Pics added to show one damaged and one as it should be. The issue is just the outer of the two lenses, so if someone has one in good physical shape but I working, that would be perfect! I would prefer if seller could ship it to NZ, otherwise I shall have to persuade a brother to receive it in the UK and get him to do the intl leg.

Re: VDO tachometer
Gord; Thanks so much! I tried their website without finding these, and was told by the local agents these are not available. So now a replacement is ordered!

Re: VDO tachometer
If you ever get stuck I ordered new singleviu gauges (VDO) from Namiss in Australia (im also NZ) and it was very good, reasonable prices and shipped fast to Aucks.

Thanks Al, will note that for the future. I have already ordered from VDO themselves, but it might be a long wait!
BTW, VDO Marine seems to be going through an ownership change. I am hoping the new setup continues to support the old products...

Re: VDO tachometer
Hi Keith,
I have one sitting in my shed - great condition. I think it does not work but as you say, you just need the physical unit. I am south coast NSW Australia. I will dig it out if you still need it.

Re: VDO tachometer
Dear Monty and Jordan, sometimes this forum really delights! After Gord’s guidance and Al’s suggestion I have ordered a new one and it’s on it’s way! So many thanks for your offers but this time round I may have found the cure I need. Thanks again and best wishes, Keith
