Hi guys, I am selling my year old Thunderstruck 5kw electric inboard motor. Sadly the motor is a little undersized for my heavy full keel boat (SC28') A boat with a fin and a little lighter will fly with this set up. The only warning I have is use full power very sparingly, the quiet and smoothness of the motor make speed deceptive. Also the motor is regenerative so it will charge the batteries while sailing. Ok another warning is 5kts is when it kicks in. I'll include a 52volt 150ah Nissan Leaf Battery. Honestly its a great system just not right for my boat. Installation is beyond easy, and the weight/space gain is remarkable.
