For Sale: Sea Tiger 555 Windlass

I have a classic Simpson-Lawrence Sea Tiger 555 windlass for sale. I have used this anchor for over 20 years and it has never failed. I purchased this windlass new many years ago. It is set for 5/16" chain. As age creeps up I am reluctantly going to an electric (sic) windlass. I need to offset the cost just a little. So, I am asking $400. I am located in Jacksonville, Florida. If you are thinking of an outstanding manual windlass look no further.

Great Just double checking , it’s the two speed model with a 5/16 Chain Gypsy and hopefully you have the handle if so I’ll buy it

It is the two speed model 5/16. I have the handle although it is worn On the end but still works well.

Sorry for the inconvenience, just talked to a friend and he offered a
Old vertical windlass he had in storage good luck on sea tiger from what I hear they withstand the test of time
