For Sale: Max Prop 17" 30MM Shaft

I bought this prop for my Irwin 43 MK III and I found out from the folks at PYI that it will not fit my shaft which is 1-1/8" SAE vs 30mm metric. Even though it seems to fit, PYI said the taper of a SEA shaft is different than the taper on a metric shaft. I almost installed it anyway, but wanted to be safe.

It is in very good condition and I would like to see it find a good home (boat). I have may more pictures assembled and dis-assembled if you are interested. I also have all of the documentation, grease and spare machine screws.

I am looking for $1000 plus shipping which is much less than what I paid.

If I don't hear from anyone, I am taking it to Bacons in Annapolis, in case you don't get to me on time.

I did the exact same thing. 17 max prop with SAE and my shaft is metric. Max Prop said they will supply me a new hub for it in the correct taper for $350 plus $150 labor. 25 mm shaft.

Mike - im interested to know if the prop is still available. i may need to replace the prop on my Beneteau First 42. please advise.
