I made a major typo in a for sale post but can't figure out how I edit my own post. Help please!

You have around 20minutes after posting to edit your post.
After that you need to contact a Moderator to assist you.
Your best bet is to maybe write up a new ad using MS Word.. then when satisfied copy and paste to a new thread and ask the Mods to delete the old one.

Edit period is 30min.

Don’t start the new one until the old one is gone.

Price and location are required info in ads.

Don’t include links to outside brokerages including EBay, YachtWorld or Craigslist.

Re: How do I edit my post?

Hi, sailbrina,

You can post again in the thread to correct the mistakes in a new post. This is the easiest thing to do as long as there is no rule violation in the original post.

You can ask a moderator to unlock your original post, so you can fix it. When this is done, it is usually at a time when both you and moderator are online, and it will then be locked after you're finished, and the open time is up. You can use the "Contact Us" button at the bottom center of the page to start the process.

Ann
