Purchased in 2015 and used through 2021. Exactly the same gear can be had new for $4000 USD. You get the gear and I eat the depreciation.

The book outlines all the necessary work to install this unit on your own and make it work. I installed the radio myself and we used it from 2015-2021 for voice nets and to download email and weather gribs and faxes while at sea.

The handheld mic has some of the rubber insulation breaking off of the coil cord but still functions as designed. A new one can be had from Amazon or others for around $100 if you're wanting to replace it.

The radio is currently installed onboard my boat in Victoria BC but I will uninstall for the purchaser and will ship if necessary at buyers cost.

That's a great price! Exactly the same (including the DR7400) as we have. Tempted to buy it from you. It will be a great buy for someone (though I'd expect shipping to USA will be pricey and problematic.)

Are you sure you don't want it here in BC (we use ours daily in the summer on 2 ham nets). Or are you moving ashore?
