It is sometimes difficult to ketch the differences between some boats, but if yawl keep trying, schooner or later you'll get it.

Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea was a great show. The sub was the Seaview and it was taken from a movie of the same name staring Walter Pidgeon (as the Admiral) and Peter Lore (as a good-guy, scientist). The plot involve the atmosphere being on fire and literally cooking the planet.

Between this and Time Tunnel, Lost in Space, Wild Wild West, Get Smart, Man from UNCLE and Secret Agent Man (from England), I feel that Family/Kids TV was at its apex.

Regetably those days are gone.

Get Smart

How do you know what engine was in the Sunbeam that Maxwell drove?
Just checking the memory banks here.
It is subtle, like the 1800E Volvo that lets you know if it has fuel injection or carburetors.

I was at Wally-Mart this morning. And I was just walking past the DVD's. And I seen the box set for "Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea--The TV series". Season One Volume One.

And I decided to buy it. Ahhh Memories!!!!!!

And I bought a movie with the Voyage box set called "End Of The Spear". About a man who goes out looking for this Indian tribe who lives in the jungle. Based on a true story.

Films of the Sea

I know this is an old post but I ran across this site that gives a list of movies about the sea.
