sabana cove malaysia

was wondering if the Sabana Cove marina in south of Malaysia is still operational? I hear different stories. Anyone recently visit the marina? I intend to pass in may when i transit the boat to east coast of Malaysia for some cruising.

It's still operational and in fact they have been spending some money on upgrading recently, thanks partly to the planned massive new oil and gas developments nearby, which need a country club for senior executives to enjoy (my take on it).

Best evidence of activity at Sebana is that it is one of the official stops on the 2016 East Malaysia Rally, which commences shortly and will visit Sebana at the end of April.
