We had a spam army register in the past few hours and use the PM system to send out messages with adult content.

The accounts have been removed and the PMs they sent out have also been removed. You may have gotten one in your inbox but it is no longer there - we've removed them all via the database. If you responded to one of them, you should still see remnants of of it in your sent folder.

There is a new registration barrier in place (captcha) to help address these smarmy registrations and while it will be a small headache for good registering members, it should be fairly effective in preventing this sort of thing moving forward - thanks for your patience. If you got a PM solicitation that looks too good to be true - it is.

Since the message was deleted by you it still shows 1 for inbox. Not sure how to get rid of that. Thank you for being so on top of things.

Hmm - I think this will reset when you get your next message and read it. Sent you a test via a thanks notice.

Yet another example of how the Mods are always working away in the background for our benefit.

The only effect I experienced was this morning (May 31st 07:30 EST), when I pressed "send" on a PM, I was asked to do the Capcha (sp?) verification twice.

That seemed unusual at the time, but now I know why...!
