I'm working on integrating a photo gallery to the board where you can upload all the images you like to share - and all members can make comments on all the images ...

Might I suggest offering a manditory expiration date on the photos ( ie: 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, 6 months, 1 year or none), so that if the photo is just for information purposes and unlikely to be used again that it can delete itself after the disignated period of time from the last use. This would help save space.
I followed another forum that had photos awhile back and it crashed due to so many photos. And I'll bet most of those photos had only been used once or twice.

It's a good thought delmarrey, but for this forum I have 9 GB diskspace available. For the moment I've set the upload limit for each member to 20 MB (which is quite a lot) so we have enough space for 450 members to upload 20 MB. Some members will never exceed 5 MB, so I think it will be long before I need to limit the uploads to a lower level (but I can easily do that).

Members can delete their uploaded images whenever they like!

So you're welcome to share quite a lot of images here.
