I've actually been thinking about registering a corp and then registering the boat to the corp, since I want to film the whole trip and make a series of TV shows, documentaries out of it to try and recoup some of my expenses when I get back. I can still do so buy owning the boat personally, but there might be advantages to having a corp own the boat. That's a whole other thread though.
