wAX/UV PROTECTION FOR iNTERDECK ?

hEY ALL, CAN I PUT SOMETHING ON THE NON-SKID TO PROTECT IT FROM SUN/CLEANING ETC...???Thanks in advance.

Protect against UV. There is no such thimg. Although it is widely believed wax protects against UV, that is myth. https://www.8thcivic.com/threads/tes...ything.249235/


If someone has quantitative data about UV protection by wax or other protectant, including the effects of weathering, please post it. I have searched and found nothing authoritative.


Protect against ozone. That is more likely, because you can seal pores. However, curiously, as big as the wax market is, you will never find data. I find that dismaying.

But waxing non-skid is kind of across purposes IMO. There are a few porducts that claim to work on non-skid, but I'm the wrong one to ask.
