Steering System

I'm looking for a company that provides a steering station that can be stowed against the bulkhead when not in use. I've seen them in houseboats but can't find the right search terms to describe for a web search. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Steering System

Thanks for the response, but what I'm looking for is not a theft prevention solution but a storable solution.

Basically, the steering wheel/column articulates and/or folds into the bulkhead when not in use.

I know that there is an Australian company, Ganat, that makes one, but I'm looking for an American company.

I'll keep trying to find it.

Re: Steering System

Dan, have you considered a hydraulic steering system?

It only sticks out a few inches from the bulkhead even when in use normally.

Re: Steering System

Thanks for all the responses.

The concept looks like this:

This is Australian company Ganat. I'm looking for a company in the US.

Again, thanks in advance.
