Quality Line - Volvo Water Heater Parts

Just wanted to post this for anyone that is still running a QL Volvo water heater. My 1992 Valiant had one installed (6 Gal, 100v/60Hz, 800w). It's pretty old, say 2004ish. About four months ago it stopped heating water and I was faced with the decision of trying to find parts or just replace. I choose the former as I love a challenge!

So after a ton of sluthing, I found some facts. These tanks are actually made by a company in Italy.

I found the heating element and thermostat here at Hodges Marine. You're looking for the "Quick/Sigmar 800w 100v Heating Element"

I also got this from Nautica the Italian manufacturer:

SPX FLOW Technologies.

These the parts you have to ask for:

56-A280-0034 AquaH HEATER ELEMENT 1200 W - 120V

56-A280-0042 AQUAH ADJUSTABLE THERMOSTAT

56-A.100-0086 AQUAH GASKET

These parts are used on Johnson Pump Marine boilers.

You can contact SPX at: JP-customerservice@spxflow.com
