Re: Just got my first boat in San Carlos, Mexico - need your advise on repair

Normally northerners dying at night. If you looking for semi-full time adventure - move to the Sea of Cortez.

Re: Just got my first boat in San Carlos, Mexico - need your advise on repair

I sold my boat and left Mexico two days before the boarder was closed due to COVID in 2020.

Summers down there can be brutal. I only stayed down there like from Oct 15 thru March 30 each year.

I sold my boat in Olympia, Washington to move to the East coast where I now live in Florida with my mermaid.

If l was to do it all over again, l would go back to the Puget sound and buy a boat about 36 to 42 feet, install some good heaters. Summers are nice, winter can be cold. But, you can sail/boat all year round.

You also have Canada and Alaskan waters.

That's my opinion on this subject and it might not be the best for you. Good luck with your endeavors.
