drydocking

hello,
once again time to drydock d boat; which in our case means pulling it up a beach far enough to be outtof wave reach.
due to a new riverside-road being build we had to change location this year and it was MUCH harder then usually. i guess every degree of inclination makes a big difference if you're hauling 25t up a hill. usually we do this with 2 chain-blocks and 30-50 guys who push'n'lift and reposition logs. so i thought it would be nice if we could get some 'diesel-power' help, i see a 60hp (car)diesel (with 5-gear transmission) sitting around idly ))) i guess even if i used 'block-and-tackle' to connect to various points of d boat, a reduction gear would still be necessary. to achieve a final 50:1 to 100:1 ratio, that should be enough.

has anybody already built such a similar power-winch? or have a photo of one he saw? is always nice if one doesn't have to 'reinvent d wheel' from scratch
