Buffing and Waxing a Deck ?

Just got done compounding and polishing the boat, tomorrow I will wax. I used all of the products mentioned in this article that was given on another thread. Great aticle!

Tips For A Great Buff Wax - SailboatOwners.com

It looks great. One question, on the deck there are a lot of objects and small areas, many too small for an electric Makita buffer, 9227C. Do it by hand? Are there smaller buffers that are good to use on a deck? Any ideas?

The boat was built in 83 and the hull is like a mirror and looks the best it ever is. Maybe except for delivery day.

Thanks for all of the suggestions and web site.

The purpose of a deck is to grip, not to shine.

we recently waxed most of our deck, I had to do something to stop the chalking, after about a week it wasn't slippery anymore and the chalkiness hasn't returned yet.
