Re: Attaching ram to quadrant

A method of mounting steering ram that attaches it strongly to hull framing.
Holesawing and dropping it down over rudder stock eliminates any side strain on rudder stock.

Re: Attaching ram to quadrant

My yacht is a 11.6 tonne ketch so there's no comparison.

I was lucky to buy a used quadrant with rudder shaft. I don't know what is was off but it takes a 10mm cable and that is what the rigger/? said was ideal for a 43ft center cockpit yacht.
