Yanmar 4JH4-TE Screws in Coolant System

After our Yanmar engine was serviced we found coolant dripping out around a screw, which was not properly tightened. This screw attaches the holding arm of the generator to the engine and we wonder if it is correct that it also keeps the coolant system closed (see photo attached). Many thanks for your help.

The Yanmar service manual illustration should be attached. It looks like the alternator bracket mounting bolt goes through the coolant pump.

Yes, pretty sure that is a long bolt that also passes through the water pump. If you tightened it up and your leak went away, you should be good to go.

Many thanks for your reassuring replies. They make our day. Fiji would not be the best of places to get engine troubles.
