Great update, Tony. I chuckled over your increasing skills with bleeding the air out of the system. Nothing like doing something a zillion times over to acquire skill. Oh, if only these problems could be fixed the first time . . . or even the first couple of times.

Re annealing the copper washers, I have also done some reading on it and will give it a go.

Its dangerous to use Teflon tape on fuel fittings as well. Proper fuel fittings should seal without the use of Teflon tape or any other sealing compound. I would strongly suggest you use proper fuel fittings and lines. Of course if you do, you wont have any more air in the line troubleshooting fun...

Leaks on mine seemed to stopped after I fitted a on/off tap in the fuel supply & keep it off when the boat is not in use.
