winsome lass if you have an hour meter for the for the motor as you should fill the tank figure how much fuel you hold, write down the hours and if you figure your engine burns .6 gals an hr. on the high side you can gauge how much fuel you have used and left by the hour meter, then when you figure you've burned 1/2 you capacity fill it again and you won't have this happen again. worked/works for me last 24 yrs.
