Volvo MD2040 Glow Plugs

Does anyone know the manufacturer and the generic part number for the Volvo MD2040 glow plugs?

I had been told they were NGK Y107R which look almost identical.

(If you want a laugh, I saw the NGK plugs at $2.45 from Amazon and from Volvo they're $36).

Try:

Here ➥ Glow Plug & Controller Catalog - Diesel Home

Or ➥
NGK cross reference application

You can go to the site Volvo Penta Shop - Select Country

This is a beta application right now but when you select a country, the engine model etc. the site allows you to identify any part mounted on the engine. It is a similar programme we volvo penta authorised service dealers use.

From there you can find your part number.
