Thanks for your note. I have been dealing with customer
service at Volvo and with the warrantee manager. They are quite sympathetic and helpful, although the result is still not good.
I fear that there are more problems with this series of
engine than I have been led to believe. The point of my post is not to flame but to get facts.
From my perspective, an engine is an essential part of the
safety equipment on a
boat. One wants to it run on demand. After three tries, when that fails to happen, it's time to investigate whether there are issues that go past a
single failure.
