unknown Volvo Penta engine

I have an engine that has 'Volvo Penta' cast into the side in raised letters. Under that it has a number sequence = 10005-8 (where the 'dash' appears to be an open box). On a raised flat area under that there is another number sequence = 88030 or 88080 although all I can make out is 8800. I have tried putting these numbers into the VolvoPenta search engine but get no hits. Can anyone please tell me what engine I have and the relevant details? It is attached to a 'V' drive transmission; MS 2. KGMS2V, 1843021.
