Audible Temp Gauge

Has anyone got any thoughts about fitting an audible temperature warning gauge for a Perkins 4108. I have the visual gauge but would feel reassured with an auible warning as well. Suppliers? Thanks. Tim

I agree with Shakey Doug. Have had my Engine Watchdog installed now for 3 years and it's never given any trouble. A unit can be tailor made if requested. I had mine supplied with longer leads and waterproofing as well. Best place for installation of the temp sensor believe, is the mixing elbow casing.

Cheers
Darryl

My Westerbeke 18 has a temp switch (closed above 200*) and low oil pressure switch (closed below 4psi) hooked to a buzzer feed from the key switch. Simple and reliable, and could be put together for less than $50.
