The switch 51 is a nice boat and maybe is the ticket. There is just something about the lines and proportions of the 57 that I like. Nothing like an extra six feet to smooth out the lines.

All three of these boats are VPLP designs of the same era. If you are serious in your consideration, why not contact them directly. They are still active. They may even have had an option design for boards, or could tell you why it's not practical.
